2019 Terlato Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills
The Pinot Noir was fermented three ways: 10% whole-cluster fermented in open-top puncheons, 15% whole-cluster fermented in half-ton bins, and the balance was destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. This added texture complexity and aromatic layers to the finished wine. When the fermentation was complete the wine was pressed directly into French oak barrels.
