This wine came from the idea of expressing the Napa Valley.  We are lucky enough to have fruit coming from all over the valley.  We started with bold Cabernet Sauvignon from rocky site near the valley floor.  Adding Merlot softened the Cabernet but strengthened it as well.  Support for the blend comes from Pope Valley Cabernet Franc, from our estate vineyard, that adds blue fruit.  They weave together to form a beautiful Napa Valley red blend.

 TASTING NOTES:

This wine provides aromas of plum, cassis and cola and flavors of bing dark cherry, and plum. It is balanced and soft, yet structured tannins and a long, lingering mocha finish.
