Rutherford Hill St. Helena Sauvignon Blanc

This Sauvignon Blanc hails from a small vineyard on the valley floor just north of the winery in the St. Helena appellation. It is fermented in both one year filled French oak barrels and in stainless steel tanks and as a result the wine is both bright and luscious. The barrel fermentation enhances the aroma profile and texture of the wine. Our hand-crafted wine has characteristic citrus flavors, accented by tropical notes.
This wine presents with a straw like color followed by aromas of grapefruit and lemon zest with mineral undertones and a hint of citrus flavors. On the palate the wine has balanced acidity with a round mouthfeel and a long finish of lemon and grapefruit.
