Rutherford Hill Rose

WINEMAKER NOTES
Our Rosé is always a fun treat to make. We start with saignee – juice drained off the skins immediately after destemming red grapes for red winemaking. The juice is then chilled and fermented similar to a white wine to preserve the aromatics. The reduced skin-contact time allows the beautiful color and aromas of strawberry and floral notes to shine in the wine. A secondary malolactic fermentation follows to soften the acidity. The result is a delicious wine with captivating red aromatics and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Enjoy through 2022.
