This wine was created in honor of Juan Moreno, Sr., our Cellar Master at Rutherford Hill for more than 40 years. Juan was a man of extraordinary talent, loyalty and integrity. He was an integral part of our family and a dear friend. He possessed the heart of a lion and he worked passionately and tirelessly alongside our family in the cellar with his family (his brothers and later his eldest son) in bringing our vision to life and creating delicious wines for you to enjoy. He always wore a kind and gentle smile on his face and was generous in sharing his artistry with those around him. He touched so many, left an indelible imprint and he will always remain in our hearts. This wine is our family’s tribute to this wonderful man and our dear friend.

Tasting Notes: Crimson in color, this wine provides aromas of blackberry, dark cherry and blueberry with baking chocolate and spices. Delivering a good volume with a lot of texture and velvety tannins, it possesses flavors of blackberry jan, blueberry and dark chocolate.
