Rutherford Hill Barrel Fermented Cabernet Sauvignon

WINEMAKER NOTES
Barrel fermentation is a process during which we ferment the red grapes within the barrel itself. Barrel fermentation increases the texture and depth of the wine with early integration of the oak and fruit tannins yielding an extraordinary wine. Rutherford Hill is a Terlato family winery whose goal is to produce great wines. We are dedicated to this mission and are very proud of this year’s Cabernet Sauvignon that we barrel fermented.
AROMAS:
Black cherry, boysenberry, olallieberry with layers of cocoa.
FLAVORS:
Velvety layers of blackberries, black cherry, blueberry,baking spice, anise, cacao and hint of sage.
